The Pastry Studio Has a Heart of Gold

Gold Wedding Cake Stand.

The always fantastic Sherri Meyers of the Pastry Studio creates a sugary wonder atop a Heart of Gold wedding cake stand from Sarah's Stands.

What inspired this darling cake?

The Pastry Studio: I created this design to complement the chic metallic gold footed cake stand. I love patterns and wanted a classic yet modern design for this wedding cake. Cream, off-white and gold are timeless. My brides stick close to this color palette more often than not. I think a full-blown sugar-paste floral always makes a bold statement. It was a pleasure creating this one-of-a-kind design. The cake has a fondant background in a soft cream then clean circles and hearts were added to create a seamless pattern in off-white. There are also tiny hearts in between the circle/heart pattern to keep the flow, making this design easy on the eye.

About the Heart of Gold Wedding Cake Stand: Gold is all the rage this year and Sarah's Stands has you covered with the new Heart of Gold wedding cake stand. This cake stand is the perfect shade of gold to make your wedding cake shine bright. Carbon steel construction and a powder coated finish make this cake stand dent and scratch resistant while a completely flat top gives you the full diameter of usable surface space
